Funding

We currently offer all current funding streams that are available. All our funded hours are offered completely flexibly, there are no restrictions to the days, times or number of hours your child can access in one day. This makes us quite unique as other settings don’t offer this flexibility that we believe so strongly in.

So, for example if your child came to nursery for 3 days a week 8am-6pm, this is 30 hours and all 30 hours would be offered as funded if your child was eligible for the extended funding and takes it term time only. The different types of funding available depend on the age of your child. Please note all funding is only available the term after you child meets certain eligibility criteria, as stated by the DfE. 

We pride ourselves on offering all our funding in a way that means you and your child get the full benefit of it, this includes;

• Offering all our funded hours completely flexibly, there are no restrictions to the days, times or number of hours your child can access in one day.
• The funding can be combined with more hours if needed and you just pay for any extra hours you need at the applicable hourly rate.
• You can choose to take the funded hours term time only or all year round, whichever best suits your needs.

If you are an existing sunflower family you’ll get a full funding pack from us a couple of months before we believe your child may first become eligible. This explains in detail your different options so you can make a fully informed decision. If you are not already a Sunflower family it is rare that we have spaces for 2, 3 & 4 year olds become available as most children start with us as babies and tend to stay with us until they go to school. However if you’d like to come and have a look around or would like to be added to our cancellation list then please get in touch and we’d happy to arrange this for you.
