Owner/Manager
Hi I’m Lisa and I am one of the owners of the nursery. I am passionate about the care and education of children in the Early Years and have a BA (Hons) Open degree that has covered many aspects of how children learn and develop. My role is in supporting children to achieve the best possible outcomes and working with families and other professionals, recently i have completed the NCFE CACHE Level 4 Award in Special Educational Needs and Disability Leadership & Management in Early Years! I have the best job in the world! -
Becky
Owner/Manager
Hello I’m Becky and co-own Sunflower Lodge with Lisa, the journey of which we started way back in 2009! I have a Level 3 in Childcare and a BA (Hons) in Leadership & Management and predominantly manage the ‘business side’ of things. I love all of the children and wonderful families, not to mention the staff team who make Sunflower Lodge such an amazing place to be! -

Deputy Manager
Hello I am Alice and I have been at Sunflower since 2017. I am a level 4 qualified and I have recently became the Deputy Manager as well as helping to supervise the Baby Space. I have a daughter of my own who keeps me on my toes and I love spending my free time outdoors. The best part of my job is seeing little smiling faces everyday and watching each child reach their full potential. -

Baby Space Supervisor & part of the management team
Hello, I'm Fiona, I am the supervisor of the Baby Space. I am qualified to Foundation Degree level. I love being part of the sunflower family and have been part of the team here since 2015. I love being a part of all the children's journey's, giving them cuddles and supporting them to blossom throughout their development. The children always bring a smile to my face and I feel honoured to know them all! -

Blossom Room Supervisor & part of the management team (currently on maternity leave)
Hello, my name is Shelbie! I am the supervisor of the blossom room. I have worked at Sunflower since January 2019 predominately in the blossom room. I hold a level 4 advanced practitioner qualification and show a lot of interest in the SEN sector, recently completing training on Supporting Children with SEND. You will find me dancing around with the children being silly and making them all laugh out loud. -

Preschool Supervisor & part of the management team (currently on maternity leave)
Hello, I'm Gemma and i have worked in all spaces across the nursery for the last 6 years, I'm now the supervisor of Preschool. I have a degree in early childhood studies and many other qualifications that range from beginning with babies and exemplary practice with two year olds to speech and language. My favourite part of my job is creating the most exciting and beautiful activities for the children, listening to them talk as they play with their peers. In my spare time i like going for walks, especially when the sun is shining, summer is my favourite season. -

Blossom Room Supervisor & part of the management team
Hello I'm Zoe and I joined Sunflower in September 2022. I have a degree in Childhood and Youth Studies & also my Level 3 qualification alongside that. I have worked in childcare for over a decade. I love getting to know the children and all of their own individual characters. I have since become Supervisor in the Blossom Room and I am always here to help and support in any way you need. -

Blossom Room Supervisor & part of the management team
Hello my name is Yasmine! I joined Sunflower Lodge in January 2019 and am level 3 qualified. I am currently training for my Level 3 in Special Educational Needs and Disability and I have recently become a supervisor of the Blossom Room. I absolutely adore coming into work everyday, seeing the children's happy faces! I love being a part of watching them grow and achieve, you will often find me getting messy with the children, engaged in an activity! -
Laura (Law Law)
Forest School Lead, Schoolie Supervisor & part of the management team
Hi I'm Law Law, i have worked at Sunflower Lodge since it opened in April 2010. I am level 5 trained and I have two boys of my own, Elliot and George. I love watching all the children grow and taking them out on adventures! I am a qualified forest school leader, level 3. I work with Lisa to offer forest school sessions for the children, we offer two sessions a week for all ages. I love to be in the forest exploring! -

Childcare in our Baby Space & administration lead
Hello, my name is Susie and I have been a Sunflower for over 10 years, joining the team in 2010, not long after Sunflower Lodge first opened! I have a Level 5 qualification in childcare which I am very proud of. I have two boys of my own who I adore. I love working with the babies being the first special friend when they start nursery and making beautiful bonds. I am known for my array of scarves which the babies love to snuggle into! -

Childcare in our Baby Space
Hi, I'm Faye and I've been at Sunflower Lodge since March 2024. I'm Level 3 qualified and have been working in childcare for 7 years. Before joining Sunflower Lodge, I was a full-time, live in Nanny and loved making memories and going on lots of adventures. Due to relocating, I moved to Sunflower Lodge and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. I've loved being with the children and cant wait to further support their play, learning and development. -

Childcare In Our Baby Space
Hello my name is Capricia, I joined the Sunflower team in May 2022 and I am a Level 3 qualified practitioner. I work within the baby space and you'll always find me smiling and laughing with them all. My specialty includes being arty and making all kinds of activities and paintings for the babies to enjoy. I love being able to watch them develop their own unique personalities and also watch them grow into beautiful little people! -

Hi, I am Mel and I have been at Sunflower since September 2024, I have a bachelors degree in childcare and I am forest school trained. I have joined Sunflower after a long career as a childminder and cannot wait to get to know all of the children around the nursery. -

Childcare Apprentice
My name is Ruby & I joined Sunflower Lodge in August 2023 as a Level 3 apprentice. I used to be unsure about what I wanted to do but I've now found my happy place! I love to travel and try new things. I am quite adventurous and love to explore. I have a dog and two cats and enjoy going on dog walks and taking her to the beach. Since joining Sunflower Lodge I have loved every moment of it, especially creating bonds with the children. I am excited to see where this journey takes me! -

Hello my name is Sam, I joined the Sunflower family in February 2023 and am currently Level 2 qualified. My favourite part of my role is getting to watch and be part of all the children growing in all their unique and beautiful ways! I really enjoy coming into the nursery every day to see everyone's smiley faces, & showing them my big happy smile too! -

Hi I'm Megan and I have worked in childcare since 2017 and am Level 3 qualified. I joined Sunflower Lodge in May 2022 and work in the Blossom Room. I love coming up with messy play ideas for the children and watching them play and learn and become independent. Their little smiles make every day enjoyable! :). I have recently returned from maternity leave and my little boy is in the Baby Space. -

Hello I'm Anna & joined the team in November 2022. My childcare adventure started in 2013 & I have loved every single moment of it so far! I have recently achieved my MA (Masters degree) in Early Education which I am so proud of! I cannot wait for more exciting adventures ahead :) In my spare time I like to go for trips out and explore new places. I also love singing and to dance my heart out even though I have two left feet! -

Hello I'm Katie, I joined Sunflower Lodge in September 2013. I have a Cache Diploma in Childcare and Education Level 3 and have recently completed the NCFE CACHE Level 4 Award in Special Educational Needs and Disability Leadership & Management in Early Years! I absolutely love every minute of my role at nursery. I love to see the children grow and flourish each and every day. I also enjoy supporting any children with additional needs at nursery, supporting the children in all which ways I can. Seeing the children smile and have fun every day is so heart-warming and rewarding. -

Hello, My name is Summer. I am Level 3 qualified and I started my journey at Sunflower Lodge as a student in October 2021, I then went on to do an apprenticeship here in June 2022. I love to see the children grow and develop into such amazing characters and I love to help them create beautiful memories. -

Louise (Weezie)
Childcare In Our Preschool & part of the management team
Hello, my name is Louise but all of the children call me Weezie. I have worked at Sunflower Lodge since the very beginning, 2010, I also worked with Lisa before the nursery opened, when she was a childminder at home! I am Paediatric first aid trained, i also have my level 4 qualification in childcare. I have two children of my own, Kiera and T'Jay. I love my job, seeing the children progress throughout their time with us and become ready for school is magical. -

Hi I'm Louise, i have been part of the amazing Sunflower family since May 2013. I am a level 4 advanced childcare practitioner! My favourite thing to do with the children is to dance. I also love getting involved with lots of arts and crafts and different celebrations. I have a beautiful daughter called Sienna and a wonderful husband called Phil! -

Hello I'm Bryony, I am Level 3 qualified and joined the team in August 2022. I have grown up in a huge family and always knew that working with children was my passion. I love the bonds I create with the children and enjoy anything outdoors and arty with them. I'm currently working with the preschool and the schoolies! -

Hello! My name is Kayla and I joined Sunflower Lodge in February 2024 as a level 3 apprentice. So far I have been based in the Pre-school and I have loved every second of it. I enjoy supporting the children and helping them get ready to go to school as well as settling in the new, younger children. You can usually find me reading stories and getting messy with the children in the garden. -

Hi, I'm Emma! I have three children and joined the Sunflower family in June 2018. I can be found in the kitchen creating new dishes for the children to try. I have a Masters degree in Sport, Exercise & Nutrition and love trying out ways of making sweet treats healthy! -

Sunflower Cook
Hello, I'm Sue and I am one of the cooks at Sunflower Lodge. I have four children of my own (one is Ellie who works in the baby space here!) and have always loved to bake. I enjoy making healthy treats for the children and they often visit the kitchen to help of for cuddles or a small biscuit! Quite often you'll find me upstairs snuggling with the babies and helping them find extra snacks! I've enjoyed my journey so far and I'm excited to make more bonds with the children to form my own little kitchen gang!
