An absolutely outstanding Nursery! The staff are just amazing and go above and beyond to make sure your child is happy and feels safe. They listen to and understand each families needs and there is a great level of communication between staff and parents. There are so many different activities for the children to join in with each day and lots of wonderful trips they take throughout the year. Sunflower lodge is definitely a place that gives everything to their children and so much care, love and effort goes in to their planning each day. They get to know each child as if they were their own and will always encourage learning and tailor the activities to each child’s strengths and abilities. They get the children involved in the community too which brings a whole new level of learning to the children. All this, topped off with healthy meals (that are very tasty according to my children!!) is what makes this nursery 5 star. I can’t speak highly enough of Sunflower lodge and either can my girls! Their little faces are full of excitement and smiles each day as I hear them talk/babble about their day.

I have used sunflower lodge for both of my children over the last 5 years. They have both loved going to nursery and the staff have always done over and above to ensure they are happy. My youngest took a long time to settle in as he was so unsure about me leaving him but all of the ladies were so patient with him and persevered for a long time and it is now without a doubt his absolute favourite place! He also has some health issues which they have responded to brilliantly and always reassured me. I would absolutely recommend Sunflower Lodge to anyone. They are so responsive to any queries, flexible wherever they can be and will always do their very best to accommodate any of your child’s needs. Both of my children have always felt happy, safe and loved during their time at nursery and have always had huge smiles on their faces when I collect them!

Our daughter absolutely loves it at Sunflower, she has thrived at Sunflower and importantly for us her ability and intelligence has been recognised and they have always made the most of her strengths. She has enjoyed several days out, is loved by all, always wants to go and you can see the delight on her face when she talks about everyone. She loves the garden space, the dance teacher, the whiteboard activities - really Sunflower just go above and beyond. Sadly her time is up in September as she moves onto her next school - it’s going to be heart-breaking her leaving but I will always be forever thankful for having Sunflower in our lives. We are expecting another baby in June 2020 and Sunflower were one of the first places we told as we wanted to ensure she had a place too - everyone wants the best start in life for their little one....Sunflower will always be our choice.

My son has been at Sunflower Lodge for 2 1/2 years and my daugther a few months in the baby room. I cannot recommend them enough, it's an extension of the family. My children are cared for as if they were their own, but with the time to focus, unlike having to complete the daily chores we parents do. The team go well beyond the call of duty, I feel like they're looking after me as well as the children. I know my children are getting the best care, nurture and early years education possible.
